CTK Practic is a basic sound-dampening material with a low resonant frequency, good adhesion to the surface and very high flexibility. It is based on butyl composite and polymers. The material is produced in the form of sheets with an adhesive layer on one side. Outside there is a layer of embossed aluminum foil with a thickness of 60 microns (0.06 mm), which provides less effort and a great degree of flexibility during the application process working with irregular shapes, reinforcement of the damping material, mechanical protection and further improvement of material acoustic properties. CTK Practic has an universal thickness of 2 mm and it is designed for basic absorption of the vibration, sound and resonance of all essential car body components such as roof, hood, dashboard, doors, door panels, floor, trunk lid, etc. The materials of the CTK Practic series are a good combination of quality, good damping characteristics and an attractive price. For this reason, these materials are widely used in different areas. The primary use of vibrodamping materials is refitting or upgrading car sound insulation, improving the acoustics of the car before installation and using car audio equipment. Also, these products can be used for industrial, computer, air conditioning equipment and even for silencing the sound of a tin sinks, shower trays and bathtubs. The product is non-toxic, waterproof, does not absorb moisture and does not decompose under the influence of weather conditions. It has anti-corrosion and sealing properties. CTK Practic can be installed without the need for heating, but we recommend working with this product at a temperatures between +10°C and +30°C. The surface must be dry, clean and well defatted. During installation vibrodamping material should be pressed tightly by roller to avoid the formation of air gaps and firmly adhere to the surface. A butyl layer of CTK Practic has self-vulcanization properties due to which, after some time, the adhesion of the material to the surface increases even more, creating a seamless whole.
