CTK Standard Professional is a modern, technologically advanced sound deadening material that absorbs low-frequency vibrations. It produces in the form of sheets with a self-adhesive layer, made on the basis of butyl-rubber composite and specialized polymer additives. It has a layer of an extruded black with yellow pattern aluminum foil with a thickness of 100 microns (0.1 mm), which strengthens and mechanically protects the damping material and improves its acoustic properties. Due to an improved formula of butyl rubber composite CTK Standard Pro has high elasticity, balanced weight and better adhesion properties (adhesion to the surface increases with time). It provides the high vibration damping efficiency at the level offered by similar materials with greater thickness and greater weight. The materials of CTK Standard Pro series are designed to effectively suppress noise, vibration and resonance of car body and upholstery elements such as roof, engine compartment, hood, dashboard, doors, door panels, floor, trunk lid, trunk floor, wheel arches etc. The main purpose of these materials is refitting or upgrading car sound insulation, improving the acoustics of the car before installation and using car audio equipment. Also they can be used indoors to silence cases of computers, air conditioner and household appliances. CTK Standard Pro is non-toxic, odorless, waterproof, does not absorb moisture and does not decompose under the influence of weather conditions. It has anti-corrosion and sealing properties. It can be installed without the need for heating, but we recommend working in the temperature range from +10°C to +30°C. The surface must be dry, clean and well defatted. During installation vibrodamping material should be pressed tightly by roller to avoid the formation of air gaps and firmly adhere to the surface.
